The West Rutland Historical Society will sponsor a presentation by Marv Elliott of the Rutland County Audubon Society on Tuesday - November 12, 2019 @ 6:30 pm in the Community Conference Room at the West Rutland Town Hall on 35 Marble Street.
A recent study by the National Audubon Society found that nearly two-thirds of North American birds are at risk of extinction due to global environmental changes. How will these changes effect the native bird species in the West Rutland Marsh, a designated Important Bird Area and an essential wildlife habitat for our region. Please join us for this informational program by Mr. Elliott as he addresses this important topic.
The Town Hall is ADA accessible The program is free and open to the public and all ages. Light refreshments to be served.
