I am writing to share my excitement that Vermont-based bluegrass band Beg, Steal or Borrow are coming to town on Saturday as part of the Live and Upstairs series at Chandler Music Hall. You may have heard them back in July when they played for the Braintree Bluegrass Brunch. I first got to know this band last year at the Green Mountain Bluegrass and Roots Festival, and I was hooked. They got their start covering tunes by classic bluegrass super group Old and In the Way, but they've branched out to performing more original material, and they have a great new CD of their own songs. They still play the heck out of Panama Red, though. . .

The show starts at 7:30, admission is by donation, and it's guaranteed to be an awesome night of music.
