In the last century, 94 percent of our seed diversity has disappeared! Come to the Waterbury Public Library on Wednesday, November 13th from 6-8 pm for a viewing of "Seed: the Untold Story" from Collective Eye Films.

"Seed" kicks off our new "Issues X-Change" series, where community members can exchange ideas and address prominent issues of the day. "Seed: the Untold Story" is a documentary which follows passionate seed keepers who protect a 12,000 year-old food legacy.

Winner of 18 film festival awards, the film documents farmers, scientists, lawyers, and indigenous seed keepers in their David and Goliath battle against the bio-tech chemical companies.

Discussion will follow and snacks will be provided.
