SPECIAL WORKSHOP
with Gary Schroder
SATURDAY, APRIL 5

We are hosting a "special 3-hour workshop" by Gary Schroder, President of the Quebec Family History Society. Gary will present, “How Do I Find My English, Irish, Scottish and Welsh Ancestors in Quebec?” This talk will cover how to locate Canadian land records, wills, judicial documents, Catholic and Protestant church records, immigration documents and much more. Over a hundred thousand Canadians of British origin entered New England from Quebec in the 19th Century.

The cost of this workshop is $10. It will be from 10:30 AM until 2:30 PM. We will break from noon until 1:00 p.m. to allow members to go out for lunch or to bring one and use our break area. It would be helpful to know early how many attendees will be at this workshop. Please send an e-mail to edmcguire.vt@gmail.com or sign up now by clicking on the following link: http://www.vtgenlib.org/store/quebecImmigration.php

Gary Schroder has taught family history courses at McGill University and Champlain College, given lectures from New Hampshire to British Columbia, and been a speaker at genealogy conferences in North America and Europe. He has been the President of the Quebec Family History Society since 1995.

Learn how to find the records that your ancestors left in Canada from a dynamic and entertaining expert.
