FUELING SENIOR POWER, Saturday, November 9, Unitarian Church, Montpelier, 9:00am-1:00pm.

It's amazing that the largest, fastest growing number of American voters don't seem to have the 'clout' wielded by other groups. However, if Seniors work together to maintain or improve the programs which are critical for our needs, we can be heard and have 'clout' at the Legislature and in Congress.

To do this, we need to have information on what IS happening legislatively. Thus the VT Chapter of the Alliance for Retired Americans is holding a Forum on "Fueling Senior Power"!

REGISTRATION is from 9:00 AM -9:30. The Program begins at 9:30.

SPEAKERS are *Madeline Kunin (who better to speak to Senior Power?), *Richard Fiesta, National Director of the Alliance for Retired Americans, *VT Rep. Dan Noyes and a *panel of VT Senior programs experts.

Rich will cover the Washington front-new threats to Senior programs & new potential advances. The ARA follows Congress closely and keeps up to date on current national legislation or proposed legislation. VT Rep. Dan Noyes and a panel of Senior program experts will fill us in on VT legislative proposals for the 2020 session. We expect there will be lively discussion.

$5 CHARGE covers Coffee & Goodies, a Light Lunch and lots of Handouts.

RSVP to D. Labounty, PO Box 858, Montpelier, 05602, or call Jane Osgatharp, (802) 229-0850.
