Girl Scout Bottle & Food Drive @ Monkton Recycling Center:
Come support your local Girl Scout Troop #30657 by bringing your bottles 11/9 to fund our big ideas for this year! On this day, we are also having a food drive for HOPE's food shelf in Middlebury while at the Recycling Center. Bring a food donation along with those bottles!
Here is a list of items that HOPE states they are in need of prior to Thanksgiving:
Oven style stuffing
Gravy (in a jar or canned)
Pie crust mix
Evaporated milk
Cranberry sauce
Canned green beans
Canned corn
Butter
Other non-holiday items that we are in need of include:
Mac and Cheese
Canned beans, especially baked beans
Boxed cereals
Canned pastas, like spaghetti O'S or beef raviolis
Dry pasta
