Fletcher Free Library Announces New Hours to Better Serve Community

Past event
Aug 16, 2013

To improve our public services and reach more members of our community, the Fletcher Free Library proudly announces its new and improved service hours.

Monday 10-6
Tuesday 10-8
Wednesday 10-8
Thursday 10-6
Friday 10-6
Saturday 10-6
Sunday 12-6

Our new hours – improved for the first time in 25 years – will begin on Tuesday, September 3. Having received frequent and increased requests for additional evening hours, the Library will expand its evening hours from one to two nights per week and now will be open both Tuesday and Wednesday evenings until 8 pm. Further, our new hours will allow the Library staff to provide a more diverse range of programming, more access to resources and meeting spaces, and better customer service, improvements our team is excited to implement. The new hours will help the Fletcher Free Library fulfill its mission of serving the evolving educational and cultural needs of the Greater Burlington community, and continue offering a welcoming place for people to gather and learn. Please stay tuned for new programming that will be available thanks to our expanded evening hours.

If you have questions or suggestions, please contact Library Director Rubi Simon at 802.865.7214 or rsimon@burlingtonvt.gov.
