The Artist In Residence Gallery at 10 S. Main St in St. Albans invites you to our monthly Featured Artists Reception on Thursday, November 7, 2019 from 4:30 PM to 7:00 PM. The Gallery is the setting for the beautiful work of 40 outstanding Vermont artists in a wide range of mediums with prices. Each month our artists gather to socialize with our visitors and our featured artist give a brief presentation about their work. Light refreshments and pleasant conversation are available.

The featured artists for the month of November are:

Barbara Colgrove's life has always revolved around the visual arts as a path of creative expression and communication. Her pottery emphasizes her interest in decorative patterns and designs and conveys her belief in the magic within the transformation from wet earth to beautiful objects which can be held and used. Barbara is one of November's featured artists at the Artist In Residence Gallery in St. Albans, VT.

Janice Decooman, a life-long artist, began weaving in traditional Navajo style in her mid-twenties. After a formal art education and a career teaching art in public schools, she has continued to explore more challenging woven work. Janice also paints portraits on specially-made wood hangers to display her weaving. Janice is one of November's featured artists at the Artist In Residence Gallery in St. Albans, VT.

Pam Krout-Voss is best known for her art works using fibers, including vessels wrapped in varied textures and colors, and sculptures of birds, pears, and animals. In addition to her fiber work, Pam creates handmade journals and sketchbooks which incorporate fibers and her own decorated papers. Pam is one of November's featured artists at the Artist In Residence Gallery in St. Albans, VT.

Shanna Ratner makes one-of-a-kind tile mosaics from recycled ceramics. She also makes block prints that are individually carved, inked, pulled, and sometimes painted. Like her mosaics, each print is unique and has its own natural variations. Shanna is one of November's featured artists at the Artist In Residence Gallery in St. Albans, VT.
