VPR host Jane Lindholm will share stories and discuss her career in radio in a talk at First Congregational Church in Manchester on Wednesday, November 6 at 7 pm. Her talk, "Let Me Ask You This," is part of the Vermont Humanities Council's First Wednesdays lecture series and is free and open to the public. Talks in Manchester are hosted by Manchester Community Library.
Longtime host of VPR's Vermont Edition, Lindholm will share some of her favorite interviews and behind-the-scenes moments from her career in public radio.
Lindholm is the award-winning host of VPR's Vermont Edition and host/creator of But Why: A Podcast For Curious Kids. She joined VPR in 2007 as Vermont Edition's first full-time host. In 2016 she started But Why, which takes questions from kids all over the world. Before returning to her native Vermont, Jane was director of the national business program Marketplace. She began her journalism career at NPR, working on Radio Expeditions, Talk of the Nation and Weekend Edition Saturday.
