Diabetes Awareness is in the month of November. The Heartland Lions Club will be hosting a Diabetes Awareness Clinic at Welch's True Value in South Royalton. They will be partnered with South Royalton Rescue Squad and Gifford Community Outreach. South Royalton Rescue will be performing FREE fingersticks to those who want it. Gifford Community Outreach will be there to help spread education materials and answer any questions that you may have of their offerings and such.
