"That the People May Live" - Black Elk's Life & Legacy

A program by Damian Costello will explore the life and legacy of Nicholas Black Elk, the Lakota holy man made famous by the book "Black Elk Speaks". The talk is based on Costello's historical research, extended residency in Indian Country, and continuing conversations with Lakota elders. This is a VT Humanities Council Speakers Bureau event hosted by Baldwin Memorial Library, 33 N. Main Street, Wells River, VT on Thursday, November 14 at 7:00 pm.
