On Friday, November 8th at 3 pm City of Montpelier officials will be celebrating the opening of the new recreation path with a ceremony and celebration to be held at Caledonia Spirits, the new distillery off Barre Street.
Starting at 215 pm on 11/8, the Cross Vermont Trail Association will be leading a 3 mile bicycle ride (round trip) from Caledonia Spirits out along a segment of the completed new recreation path to the site of the proposed new bridge over the Winooski River. The bridge, which CVTA is still fundraising for, is the Association's keystone project linking the eastern and western portions of the Cross Vermont Trail.
