Community Discussion - State of the World

Past event

History matters. In an age of instant and bullet point reporting an understanding of the current events which shape our common futures ignores the social, political and historical context of those events leaving many of us feeling confused and powerless. State of the world discussion groups are groups in which world citizens take the time to analyze together behind the headlines of the news and to engage in the lost art of face-to face conversations about the facts and interpretations to hopefully reach an understanding of what is and what is not happening in our world. Join us at 1:30 on Monday the 4th of November to at the Miller Center on Gosse Court in the New North End to begin to talk to each other. Led by lawyer and teacher Sandy Baird, 355-4968 sandrabaird114@gmail.com.
