Want to learn How to Identify and Control Invasive Plants on your property?

The Charlotte Park and Wildlife Refuge Oversight Committee and Charlotte Land Trust are holding a hands-on instructional session at the Charlotte Park and Wildlife Refuge from 9:30 – 12:30 on Sunday, November 3.

Participants will meet at the Greenbush Road parking lot of the Park and Wildlife Refuge at 9:30. We will walk in the Park, identifying various invasive plants - and then learn and practice some techniques to remove them.

Participants are invited to try their hand at these techniques. Plan to bring work gloves, eye protection, a water bottle, and pruning loppers or small folding saw if you have them. Tools will also be available for participants to use.

The event will wind up at 12:30 with refreshments and the Park Committee's famous apple muffins. For further info or to confirm you are coming, contact: dwatts@bwvlaw.com or 425-2876. Preregistration is not required.
