LU JONG TIBETAN HEALING YOGA ****MEDITATION IN MOTION****

Lu Jong is an ancient movement practice developed for the purpose of self healing. LU means 'body' and JONG means 'training'.
Created to be appropriate for people of all ages and abilities, Lu Jong's movements are combined with rhythmic breathing like a gentle Tibetan Vinyasa to apply pressure to specific spots within the body. They are simple yet powerful movements which are accessible to all levels of experience including newcomers. Physically, Lu Jong works the entire body with a primary focus on the flexibility of the spine. The practice works the spine for strength. It also opens blocked channels and chakras to encourage the proper flow of energy in our bodies.

What does this mean for you? In addition to fostering physical healing by increasing fitness, energy and balance, Lu Jong is a spiritual practice that opens the heart, cultivates inner calm, and hones mental focus.

For many years a direct student of Tulku Lobsang Rinpoche, the lineage holder of this practice, Joelle Kelly was chosen as one of the first teachers certified to teach Lu Jong in North America.

She has since been selected by the Master as one of only two teachers in North America qualified to teach all levels of Lu Jong in addition to the training of future certified Lu Jong teachers.

Charismatic, warm, and joyfully grounded Joelle is committed to meeting each student at their level of comfort and ability.
