Local healthcare forum to explore issues and solutions to healthcare crisis

Medicaid recipients and people impacted by the healthcare crisis will be among those speaking at an upcoming "People's Healthcare Forum"

The forum, one of five across the state, will feature presentations and stories from community members in central Vermont affiliates with the Healthcare is a Human Right campaign.

Organizers will lay out an agenda for policy reform in the 2020 legislative session, including g raising Medicaid reimbursement rates for home healthcare workers and community based services alongside Vermont's minimum wage reform.
