Practice Sessions
Wed. Nov. 6th, 6-8pm
Vestry space (accessible) of the Unitarian Church of Montpelier (130 Main St.)

Have you ever wished you knew how to respond better to racist comments and jokes? Have you remained quiet, but wished you had spoken up? Join Central Vermont Showing Up For Racial Justice (SURJ) to practice responding. SURJ is collaborating with the Unitarian Church Of Montpelier to offer 4 practice sessions to the Central VT community during the winter months. What you learn and practice can be applied to many different forms of biased remarks, not just racist ones.

The free sessions are open to everyone, and no experience is needed. Donations gratefully accepted. Lite refreshments provided. Come to one or all:
Wed. Nov. 6th, 6-8pm
Wed. Jan. 15th, 6-8pm
Sun. Feb. 9th, 1:15-3:15pm
Tues. Mar. 31st, 6-8pm.

These are engaging and empowering sessions. Very well facilitated! All are welcome. No previous experience necessary.
