Dear friends and neighbors: Next Friday, April 4'th, Lyric Theatre's 40th Anniversary production of "Les Miserables" will open at the Flynn for a two-weekend run. As a twenty-five year Lyric member--with experience backstage, onstage and as an artistic director--I want you to know that IMHO, "Les Miz" is the greatest of all Broadway shows. It fairly bristles with drama and the musical score is among the most gripping ever written. And if you have any doubts about the talent available in the Champlain Valley to mount a performance of this magnitude,,come and be amazed.
