In the spirit of the spooky season, the Milton Historical Society presents: "A Real Monster on the Streets of Burlington: H.H. Holmes in Vermont"!

Join us Wednesday, October 23rd, 7 PM at the Milton Grange Hall as Vermont Agency of Transportation Archaeologist Brennan Gauthier lays out the entire H.H. Holmes in Vermont story. Often called America's first serial killer, Holmes was born in New Hampshire and arrived in Burlington as a medical student. He would return later as a wanted con man and killer. Highlights of Holmes' Burlington haunts, a recounting of his "Murder Hotel" in Chicago, and a creepy look at the recent excavation and forensic investigation of Holmes' remains, make for an exciting evening of serial killer thrills. And it is all true!

This Special Event will be held at the Milton Grange Hall, 135 River Street in Milton. Free and open to the public, donations appreciated. Refreshments after the program. ***Parking at the Grange is limited. If you're able, please park nearby at Toby's Treats or Milton High School - it's a 3 minute walk.***
