Ticket sales are brisk (especially online: http://vohroyalsouthern.eventbrite.com/) for the upcoming benefit concert at YOUR Vergennes Opera House, this Tuesday, August 20.
The benefit concert features the soulful, blues-rock, New Orleans style music of The Royal Southern Brotherhood. Band members include Devon Allman (son of Greg Allman), Cyril Neville (of the Neville Brothers), Mike Zito, Ronrico Scott and Charlie Wooton.
The group is planning to come up a day early to set up and rehearse...so if you see them out and about in Vergennes, be sure to say "hi", make them feel welcome...and give them something to remember about our little city. :)
Doors open at 6:30 p.m. Wine and beer cash bar hosted by Bar Antidote.
All tickets are $25. General Seating.
All proceeds go to benefit the Vergennes Opera House.

We encourage all Vergennes (and surrounding towns) citizens to make the special effort to either attend what will be a memorable concert of world-class musicians and/or spread the word to neighbors and friends so we can have a really, really robust crowd to welcome this band and raise some important funds (and spirits) for the Vergennes Opera House.
All of us on the board of the Friends of the Vergennes Opera House thank you in advance for your continued support of this special community resource and community space.
