Nature Walk with Field Biologist Craig Zondag:
How Our Lands Reflect Natural and Human History
Saturday, November 2, 2019 12:30 - 2:30 pm
Cornwall Orchards B&B, 1364 Route 30, Cornwall VT
Join field biologist Craig Zondag and innkeepers Lise Anderson and Miles Peterle for a stroll through the woods and fields of Cornwall Orchards B&B. See how different historical, human, farming and natural activities leave their distinctive marks on a particular parcel of land. The farmhouse, built in 1793, and the 13 acres surrounding it are a microcosm of the history of Cornwall over the centuries. Stay afterwards for cider and donuts at Windfall Orchards.
Parking: Parking is limited, so please carpool if you can from Cornwall Town Hall or the Fire Station. Park by the B&B barn. If this area is full, overflow parking is available at Windfall Orchards across the street. Please note that parking is illegal along Route 30. Wearing waterproof or rubber boots is advisable. No dogs or other pets please.
