É.T.É Traditional Music Group from Quebec, will be performing at the Burlington Violin Shop, 23 Church Street Marketplace, on Oct. 31, 6pm – 8:30 pm.
É.T.É. 's young members, Élisabeth Moquin, Thierry Clouette and Élisabeth Giroux, offer a dynamic and modern vision of Québec traditional music. Their musical arrangements are shaded with influences of folk, progressive rock and classical music interpreted on fiddle, Irish bouzouki cello and Élisabeth's masterful step dancing.
The musical vision is presented in their original compositions and unusual arrangements of traditional tunes. É.T.É transforms the traditional kitchen party into an unforgettably entertaining and lively performance with rich vocal harmonies, musical drive and instrumental virtuosity.
Their first album "Le boire des minuits" was released in 2017. The group received an award for the "Discovery of the Year 2017-2018" OPUS AWARD.
Presented by Young Tradition Vermont with the Burlington Violin Shop. $20 suggested donation. Limited seating. Reservations recommended at mark.sustic@gmail.com
