Coming up Thursday and Friday this week, Wheels for Warmth used tire collection effort! Donate usable tires and they will be sold at good prices to Vermonters in need of tires. And if you have tires that are not usable we'll charge you only $4 per tire--less than the charge at the transfer station--and send them off for re-cycling. All the proceeds go for home heating assistance to low-income Vermonters. Check out the ads in the Stowe Reporter and News and Citizen for more details.

Where: The Stowe Events field parking lot on Weeks Hill Road, just past Willie's Auto When: Thursday October 24th and Friday October 25th, 2-6 pm each day.

Last year the Stowe site collected about 375 usable tires and 150 more for recycling, and Statewide the effort raised nearly $50,000 for heating assistance for our neighbors in need. A good deal all around, please join us this year!
