The League of Women Voters in the NEK encourages St. Johnsbury's voters to inform yourselves about the proposed bond to fund improvements to the St. Johnsbury School so that you can vote on it on or before Tuesday, November 5th. Early and absentee voting is already open, or you can plan to vote at the polls at the St. Johnsbury School from 10:00 a.m.-7:00 p.m. on November 5th. I am going to vote early, since it is so easy to visit the Town Clerk's Office and I have a busy day on 11/5. You can do it, too: you can either go to the Town Clerk's office or you can call or email to request a ballot be sent to you. See contact info below.
To make it easy to know more about the proposed bond the LWVNEK has, with KATV's help (thank you, KATV!) interviewed Dr. Brian Ricca, St. Johnsbury School Superintendent. Here is a link to the interview, which will give you the scoop:

There will be two opportunities to walk through the School, see things and ask questions about the bond and the projects it will fund. They will be on Monday, October 21st at 5:00 p.m. or Monday, October 28th at 5:00 p.m. The tour will meet at the front door of the School.
There will also be an informational meeting about the bond at the School at 7:00 p.m. on Monday, November 4th.
Any questions about the bond, contact Dr. Brian Ricca bricca@stjsd.org.
Any questions about registering to vote, voting early or absentee, contact St. J's Town Clerk at (802)748-4331 or townclerk@stjvt.org
