Each year the AARP Tax Aide program provides free income tax preparation and e-filing for both Federal and State returns for persons with low to moderate income and with a special emphasis on those over the age of 60. We are looking for volunteers who would work with individuals to help them through the tax filing process starting February 1 through April 15. Dates and hours are flexible. Free training and support is provided. Computer familiarization is definitely a plus. An introduction to the software and to the Tax Aide program will be held during the days of October 28 and October 29 at the AARP offices in Burlington.
