Why: I became a member of the Board of Directors of Good Beginnings of Central Vermont because I'm passionate about GB's mission (www.goodbeginningscentralvt.org ). Proceeds from this sale will go to Good Beginnings of Central Vermont.

How: Cost of items is by donation. Rain or shine (sale is on covered porches and in barn)
What: Preparing to downsize to a smaller place, I'm selling things that are extras, won't fit, or won't be needed in an apartment:
- (too many) house plants (mostly succulents)
-gardening tools, décor, and supplies
-home rehab tools and supplies (doors, hardware, paint…)
-home décor (general and holiday)
-household stuff (space heaters, fans, storage containers)
-books (largely design and architecture)
-pet-related things (toys, grooming tools, leashes, beds)
-sewing machine
-human-powered lawn mower
