Join us at the Northfield Senior Center on Monday, October 21st at 12:30 P.M. for a presentation by AARP on how to protect yourself from identity theft. We'll discuss what identity theft is, how and why it occurs, common techniques identity thieves use, and steps you can take to prevent identity theft from happening to you. We'll also cover what to do if you are a victim of an identity theft scam.Identity theft does not have to be a complete take over of your identity to be effective for the scammer and our presenter will address this as well. This informative presentation is free and open to all.
