Capstone Community Action's workforce development program, the Community Kitchen Academy is hosting an open house this Thursday from 5-7 at 20 Gable Place. CKA is a 12 week culinary training program for income eligible central Vermonters age 18 or older who are looking to gain employment in the food industry after completing this rigorous, fun, and accredited training. Come meet our dynamic and talented new Chef Instructor, Chef Joey Buttendorf, nibble on some CKA treats, apply for the program, or simply come on over to see how CKA is making a difference in the lives of the students who complete the program.
