History of North Montpelier Presentation Monday

Past event
Oct 21, 2019, 6 PM

On Monday, October 21, the Calais and East Montpelier Historical Societies are hosting a program about the history of North Montpelier at the home of Celina Moore and Eric Esselstyn, 2850 Route 14, North Montpelier. Actually, Celina and Eric are the hosts; their home was known as the Rich Mansion and served as a wayside for travelers after it was built in 1805. At 6 pm there is a potluck supper and the program will start at 7 p.m. with a presentation by Nathan Phillips and area residents about the history of North Montpelier. If you plan to attend the potluck, please bring a dish to share and your own place setting. Beverages will be provided. In order to accommodate seating, please RSVP to Sandal Cate. Sandal's email is sandal@sover.net. Directions: Coming from East Calais Village, after you have crossed the Singing Bridge (does it still sing?!), it is the 5th house on the left.
