Free DIY Beeswax Food Wrap Workshop

Past event
Oct 24, 2019, 7 to 8:30 PM

Are you interested in reducing your use of single-use plastics and aluminum foil for food wrap? Join us at the Cabot Public Library (Willey Building) at 7pm on Thursday, October 24 to learn how to make DIY Beeswax Food Wrap! We will have a special introduction from a local beekeeper about the wonderful qualities of bees and beeswax.

Beeswax food wrap can be reused over 200 times and is pliable and antimicrobial! We will have all the materials necessary for participants to make beeswax food wraps of various size, but we encourage participants to bring cloth or linen napkins from home!

This event is in collaboration with the Cabot Community Association, the Cabot Public Library, the Greater Cabot Working Landscape Network, and was made possible with funding from North Country Federal Credit Union.
