As part of its "Vermont Life" Skill Share program series, the Pawlet Public Library will present its last Forestry 101 program on Saturday, October 19, from 3-4 p.m. at the library. The program is free.
Pawlet forester Gabe Russo will provide information on how to prepare or purchase firewood for your home. He will provide tips on where and when to buy, split or log length, stacking and best species to burn. Recommended for anyone who wants to master firewood skills before winter.
