Creating with Nature

Past event
Oct 11, 2019, 10 to 11:30 AM

"Movement, change, light, growth, and decay are the life-blood of nature, the energies that I try to tap through my work." – Andy Goldsworthy.

Meet at the bridge by the pool parking lot. All ages are invited to join in this practice of creating art with objects from nature. We'll reference some nature artists from both near and far for inspiration. We'll approach the work with a spirit of playfulness and experimentation. No previous experience necessary. A great way to nourish a sense of belonging to the Earth, this might even turn into a spiritual practice for you. We'll have time for both individual and group creations. If you like, bring a bag lunch to share together afterward. RAIN DATE (if it is really raining hard): Mon. Oct. 14th (same times). Facilitated by Liza Earle-Centers as part of the Lifespan Spiritual Exploration programming at the Unitarian Church of Montpelier. Questions? ucm.dre@gmail.com RSVP here if you'd like a reminder email or notification if we will use the rain date: https://forms.gle/xRoxFzRE7LhVyhJr7
