The museum is finally getting a face lift! We are seeking volunteers (18+) to come and scrape the old paint off the Fairfax Historical Society Museum on Main Street and get it ready for repainting. We will provide all safety equipment, but if you have scrapers you would like to bring, we'd appreciate it. We will also have light carpentry jobs and landscaping work for those interested.

Come for an hour or stay for the whole day. We will provide water throughout the day and pizza for lunch.

The Fairfax Historical Society Museum is located at 1181 Main Street. We ask that volunteers park across the street in the parking lane as the lot next to the museum is reserved for tenants of the apartments next door.
