You are invited!! The Charter House Coalition is having an Open House this Saturday, October 12th from 10:00 – 12:00 Noon. It's the big white house at 27 North Pleasant Street, on the Middlebury town green, across the street from the Congregational Church. It's where you will find Neighbors Helping Neighbors in need, sharing shelter from the cold, meals for the hungry, guidance and community.

See the newly renovated kitchen that prepares 40,000 meals a year. When the winter season starts next week, five families with kids will live upstairs. Downstairs, there is room for 24 adult men and women to find shelter, warmth, counseling and friends.

Over 1,000 volunteers make it happen - come meet them and our dedicated staff – get snacks and refreshments and a guided tour, and you can learn how to get involved if you'd like. See the upgrades we've made to our 230-year old home - including some still under construction!!
