Did you ever get a great idea for a story, and see exactly how it starts — and then get stuck at the end of chapter 1, or even page 1? Beth Kanell, author of a dozen Vermont books including the award-winning novel The Long Shadow, shows how to lean on your family or town history and your own curiosity to create a plot and characters for a well-rounded short story or even a novel of your own. Beth will bring postcard images of Lyndonville's past to start your creative wheels spinning. Bring a pen or pencil, and if you like, bring a family or local photo of your own, and prepare to enjoy what authors enjoy most. Aspiring writers of any age are welcome to attend this event. Please register with the library in person or by calling or emailing. 626-5475 or info@cobleighlibrary.org. Please leave your name and phone number. This program is limited to twelve people.
