Intensive Yoga Series at Yoga Place

On Saturday, October 19th and Sunday, October 20th, The Yoga Place will host an intensive three-part series, Yoga Moment to Moment, led by Sannyasi Mahesh, a guest instructor. The sessions will run 9:00 a.m.-Noon and 2:00-5:00 p.m. on Saturday and 9:00 a.m.-Noon on Sunday.

The first session on Saturday will focus on meditation, breath, deep relaxation and stress release. Session 2 on Saturday looks at ways to start your day by programming the mind, body and energy using different practices of yoga. The final session on Sunday will teach participants how the different practices and attitudes of yoga work together to facilitate gradual, steady change towards more positivity, vitality, creativity and joy.

Mahesh discovered yoga while living in Edinburgh, Scotland, and eventually was led to the Bihar School of Yoga and met his guru in India. For the past ten years, whenever not in India, he lived in London, UK, where he taught yoga there as well as in several other countries. Mahesh's main goal is to share the wisdom of yoga as a series of practical lifestyle changes that can enhance the lives of all people.
