Vermont Interfaith Power and Light

Saturday, October 26, 2019, Vermont Interfaith Power and Light (VTIPL, www.VTIPL.org) will host its 8th annual conference at The Congregational Church of Middlebury, UCC. Conference details and registration are available at https://vtipl.org/fall-conference-2019/

Entitled, "Envisioning & Acting for the World We Want", the conference will feature keynote speakers: Reverend Dr. Jim Antal, denominational leader and climate activist, and Professor Molly Anderson, Food Studies Professor at Middlebury College.

The conference will include workshops on
• Green New Deal Advocacy
• Sustainable Food Systems
• Vermont's New Water Legislation
• Advocacy for Effective Climate Legislation
• "Heart Change" for Climate Action
plus, a catered lunch, music, sponsors' exhibits, a book table and more!

Vermont Interfaith Power and Light (VTIPL) is a 501(c)(3) whose mission is to support the efforts of faith communities in addressing climate change. In addition to its annual conference VTIPL offers a monthly e-newsletter, climate change film showings, free energy assessments of faith community buildings and matching grants for energy audits and energy efficiency and renewable energy projects through the Katy Gerke Memorial Program.
