What is a Watch Party?

Watch parties are free and open to the public and are places where community members can gather to watch and discuss the candidate debates together. Debate watch parties are a great way to meet your neighbors, learn about the candidates, and how different people process information about political candidates to inform their political worldview. Community members are encouraged to attend both watch parties regardless of political affiliation.

The League of Women Voters of the NEK will have a table at both the Democratic and Republican screenings of the debates and will as always be attending in a nonpartisan capacity. They will be sharing information about how to watch a debate, "How to Judge a Candidate" articles, as well as have voter registration information available.

Caledonia County Republican, Progressive, and Democrat Committees have been invited to attend.
