About the Writers:
Ukamaka Evelyn Olisakwe is a Nigerian feminist author, short-story writer, and screenwriter. In 2014 she was chosen as one of 39 of Sub-Saharan Africa's most promising writers under the age of 40, showcased in the Africa39 project and included in the anthology Africa39: New Writing from Africa South of the Sahara.

Alison Prine's debut collection of poems, Steel (Cider Press Review, 2016) was named a finalist for the 2017 Vermont Book Award. Her poems have appeared or are forthcoming in Ploughshares, The Virginia Quarterly Review, Shenandoah, Field and Prairie Schooner among others. Tim Carter grew up in Burlington, VT and now lives in Syracuse, NY. Tim graduated from Syracuse University's MFA program, and now works in the education department at a local theater, which partners with the Syracuse City School District. Tim's book Noon Ran recently won the 2019 BOAAT Book Prize, and will be available in November 2020.

Christopher Kondrich is the author of Valuing (University of Georgia Press, 2019), selected by Jericho Brown as a winner of the National Poetry Series, and Contrapuntal (Free Verse Editions, 2013). A winner of The Iowa Review Award for Poetry and The Paris-American Reading Series Prize. He is an Associate Editor for 32 Poems, he lives and works in Maryland.
