Pawlett Historical Society will be presenting Howard Coffin and Vermont Women in the Civil War on Thursday, Oct. 17th at 7:00 pm at the Pawlet Town Hall. The Town Hall is located on School Street in Pawlet, VT. "Vermont women enlisted for the duration" so said a Vermont historian assessing the war years 1861-1865. Coffin tells their story in their own words, describe life during the Civil War in the Green Mountain State. The event is free, accessible to people with disabilities and open to the public.
