On Wednesday, October 9th, the Fayston Conservation Commission will be hosting Aaron Shepard of the Northwest Vermont Solid Waste Management District at the Fayston Town Office on North Fayston Road. Aaron will be discussing the compost collection program in place in St. Albans, as well as composting best practices and procedures for private residences and communities. All valley residents are welcome to attend. The meeting is timely as the deadline to deposit food scraps in Vermont landfills is July 1, 2020.

The meeting will start at 7PM and should be approximately 45 minutes. We hope to see you - nothing's more engaging than trash talk!
