Thom McAllister, new Teacher/Community Coordinator at Central Vermont Adult Basic Education's Waterbury Learning Center, will be offering hours (drop-in or by appointment) at the Joslin Memorial Library in Waitsfield.
When: Every Thursday, beginning October 10
Hours: 1:30 to 4:30
Where: Conference Room in lower level of Joslin Memorial Library, 4391 Main St., Waitsfield.
Who: Anyone 16 or older interested in:
*improving basic reading, writing, math, or computer skills AND/OR
*building skills for college or a career training course AND/OR
*earning a high school diploma or GED AND/OR
*developing or improving English speaking, reading, and writing skills.
All services are free and confidential.

CVABE is also actively seeking community members interested in serving as volunteers in the Waterbury/Mad River Valley area. A range of opportunities are available, including--but not limited to--teaching, mentoring, outreach, and office support.
