God guard us from those thoughts men think
In the mind alone;
He that sings a lasting song
Thinks in a Marrowbone.
- W.B. Yeats

Marrowbone is a celebration of story and storytelling performed outside in the blaze of the autumn woods. Audience members are guided on a winding path, stopping for performances of poems, music, and dance. At the end of the path all are welcome to gather in the pine wood to listen to stories by the fire.

Everyone is invited to feast on stories created just recently, stories created 100 years ago, and stories created so long ago nobody is quite sure when. Groups are guided through the woods at appointed times, so advance ticket purchase is encouraged. Performances take place outside, rain or shine.
