Hi Neighbors,
The Daughter's of the Corn Dance Troupe is returning to Burlington next Wednesday the 9th! Head on over to the Railyard Apothecary for an evening of marimba music and Nicaraguan dance to benefit Compas de Nicaragua, a non-profit organization that supports health and education projects in Nicaragua.
Beyond the beauty of their dancing, this year's performance will include personal stories from dancers and short project videos that the dances are filming and editing themselves. Videos will take the audience into the lives of "Women in Action", a women's group that live, and carry out community projects in one of the poorest settlements of Managua, Nicaragua.
Cost: $22 in advance, $25 day-of. All ticket sales benefit Compas de Nicaragua.
