On Sunday from 2 to 4 p.m., Middletown Springs Historical Society will host an Open House celebrating 50 years of engaging the community in understanding and appreciating the history of Middletown Springs and encouraging local historic preservation.

Collections Manager Jon Mathewson will demonstrate label making and you will be able to see how the collection is cared for by going "behind the scenes".

New donations will be on display including an antique doll carriage, chairs that the donor recalled using at the Middletown Springs School while reading Dick and Jane, a stereoscope and collection of stereoview cards, quilts and other objects.

Refreshments will be served. It is free and handicapped accessible. Call Pat at 235-2421 for further information.
