The Cornwall Volunteer Fire Department invites townspeople to an open house on October 12th from 9AM to 12PM at our station at 1952 Route 30.
Learn more about what your first responders do and how the department works, whether you are just curious, looking for a fun kid activity or want to learn more about how you might play a role in the CVFD. And there will be a helicopter stopping by for a visit, too.
Of course, we need folks who are interested in learning more about treating injuries and fighting fires, but there is a job for everyone is the fire service and EMS community. Are you a truck driver? A spreadsheet master? An event planner? Comfortable writing grants? Are you a social media whiz? You can help your neighbors and the department without being on-call for emergencies.
We will have light refreshments and activities for all. At 10:30AM the LifeNet helicopter from Ticonderoga will do a demonstration landing at our facility. We hope to see you there!
