Reading to End Racism (in which volunteers read and discuss books with classrooms of elementary students in central Vermont) will be having a get-together in the meeting room at the Kellogg-Hubbard Library in Montpelier on Saturday, October 12, from 10:00 - noon. There will be books to browse, demonstrations of readings for early and older grades, and time to talk about issues. This is a good opportunity for new people who may be interested in learning about what RER is and how it works.
