Supporting Families in SB Who Are Experiencing DV

Past event
Oct 10, 2019, 5:30 to 8 PM

The South Burlington City Council, City Hall, Police Department, Community Justice Center, Steps to End Domestic Violence, and HOPE Works invite you to participate in 2 events at the Tuttle MS Cafeteria to learn about and take steps together regarding domestic violence in our community. We are all impacted by domestic violence in ways that we may not be aware of.

Last year in May, due to the death of one of our community members, Annette Lumumba, the impacts became a little more known and highlight that people we know may be experiencing DV without us realizing it. We are coming together to honor her legacy and to create a safer community. One where violence is not tolerated and where those who are experiencing it are not isolated, but supported. Food provided.
