Monday City Council Meeting at Chamberlin School on Airport Issues

Past event
Aug 19, 2013, 7 PM

The South Burlington City Council will be holding a council meeting this coming Monday (19 August 2013) at the Chamberlin School, starting at 7 PM. The focus of the council meeting is to meet with the residents of the airport neighborhood to present information on the long range plans for the airport, the FAA Home Buy-Out Program and demolition, noise mitigation, and other topics pertinent to the neighborhood, including using the abandoned homes for police, fire, etc training.

Anyone who now lives in the F-16 noise zone, and/or will live in the F-35A noise and crash zones are strongly encouraged to attend this very important meeting. Even more important is that these people, either in person or through an email, make their concerns known.

Come in person, or email your comments and concerns to one, some, or all of the City Councilors, and the interim city manager:

Pam Mackenzie (pmackenzie@sburl.com), Pat Nowak (pnowak@sburl.com), Chris Shaw (cshaw@sburl.com), Helen Riehle (hriehle@sburl.com), and Rosanne Greco (rgreco@sburl.com); interim city manager, Kevin Dorn (kdorn@sburl.com)
