St. James' Episcopal Church in Arlington is delighted to resume its annual celebration of animals in honor of St. Francis of Assisi this Sunday at noon on the church lawn. Leading the service will be the Rev. Mary White, St. James' new priest in partnership. All companion animals are welcome, under proper restraint, for the short service, which will include readings, prayers and individual blessings. Don't have a pet but want to participate? There will be "loaners" on hand!
Donations of money, pet food, toys and bedding are gratefully accepted on behalf of Second Chance Animal Center.
